Gujarat assembly was on Thursday adjourned for the day after paying homage to those killed in the attack on the Sabarmati Express at Godhra on Wednesday.
Chief Minister Narendra Modi moved the resolution to adjourn the house, while leader of opposition Naresh Raval seconded it, following which the speaker adjourned the house for the day.
Earlier, condoling the death of 58 people in the attack at Godhra railway station, Modi had announced institution of a judicial inquiry into the gruesome incident.
