Indian Davis Cupper Mahesh Bhupathi [ Images ] and Mark Knowles [ Images ] cruised into the finals of the euro 891,000 ATP Swiss Indoor tournament, defeating Argentine pair Jose Acasuso and Agustin Calleri in straight sets in Basel on Saturday.

The Indo-Bahamas duo, currently No. 3 in the Stanford ATP Doubles Race, knocked out the Argentine pair 7-5, 6-2 in an hour and 17 minutes.

Bhupathi and Knowles improved their track record this season to 35-16. The duo also won two ATP titles at Memphis and Dubai [ Images ] from as many as six finals.

Bhupathi and Knowles will now take on the winner of the second semi-final between David Nalbandian [ Images ] and Eduardo Schwank [ Images ] of Argentina and Christopher Kas and Philipp Kohlschreiber of Germany [ Images ].

The duo earlier prevailed over Finnish-Australian pair of Jarkko Nieminen and Jordan Kerr in the quarterfinals.
