Prakash Amritraj [ Images ] crashed out of the US $50,000 ATP Challenger series event in Champaign, USA, after losing his second round match to Carsten Ball.

Amritraj put up a good fight but could not stop the Australian from scoring a 7-5, 6-3 victory in the hardcourt event.

With his defeat, Indian challenge in the singles event ended.
