India [ Images ] on Wednesday announced a four-member team with Sania Mirza [ Images ] as the spearhead for the Fed Cup Asia/Oceania Group I & II matches scheduled in Bangkok from January 28-February 3.

Apart from Sania, Sunitha Rao, Isha Lakhani and Tara Iyer have been named in the squad, which would have Enrico Piperno as the coach-cum-manager, selection committee chairman Anil Dhupar said in a statement.

Besides India, the participating nations include Australia [ Images ], China, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, Indonesia, New Zealand [ Images ], Thailand and Uzbekistan.
