Spaniard David Ferrer has qualified for the season-ending Masters Cup featuring the world's top eight players on the men's circuit, organisers said on Sunday.
Ferrer becomes the sixth player to qualify for the Nov. 11-18 event in Shanghai after Roger Federer [ Images ], Rafael Nadal [ Images ], Novak Djokovic [ Images ], Nikolay Davydenko [ Images ] and Andy Roddick [ Images ].
Several players, led by Chilean Fernando Gonzalez [ Images ] and German Tommy Haas [ Images ], will be fighting for the two remaining spots at the Paris Masters Series tournament starting on Sunday.
