India's [ Images ] Leander Paes [ Images ] and his Czech partner Martin Damm [ Images ] crashed out of the Madrid Masters, going down in straight sets to the Australian pair of Jordan Kerr and Todd Perry.

The seventh seeds lost 2-6, 3-6 to Kerr-Perry in the second round on Wednesday.

Paes-Damm received a bye in the first round while the Australians were fresh from an upset win over Fabrice Santoro [ Images ] of France [ Images ] and Swiss Yves Allegro.

Though Santoro-Allegro were not seeded for the tournament, they are experienced campaigners and were trumped 6-3, 7-6 (3) by Kerr and Perry in the first round.
