They beat the Swedish-German pair of Robin Soderling [ Images ] and Philipp Kohlschreiber 6-7, 7-6, 10-7 to set up a clash against Swede Simon Aspelin and his Austrian partner Julian Knowle.

In London [ Images ], Mahesh Bhupathi [ Images ] and Radek Stepanek's campaign in the Artois Championship was cut short in the second round by third seeds Paul Hanley [ Images ] and Kevin Ullyet, who inflicted a straight set defeat on the Indo-Czech duo in the Euro 680,250 ATP event.

Bhupathi and Stepanek went down 1-6, 4-6 to Australian Hanley and his Zimbabwean partner Ullyet.
