As a build up to the FIFA [ Images ] World Cup in Germany [ Images ], Discovery channel will show a six-part series chronicling the emergence of great teams and players in collaboration with FIFA, the world governing body for football.

The series, to be shown at 9 pm IST on Fridays from April 28, would have exclusive footage from FIFA's film archive and recollections from the greats of the game including Franz Beckenbauer, Zinedane Zidane, Michel Platini [ Images ] and Dino Zoff, a media release said on Wednesday.

The series titled "More Than a Game" is to feature great teams like Brazil [ Images ], Argentina, Germany, Italy [ Images ], France [ Images ] and England [ Images ], the release added.
