Seventh-seeded Mahesh Bhupathi [ Images ] of India [ Images ] and Martin Damm [ Images ] of Czech Republic lost their third round match against ninth-seeded Simon Aspelin from Sweden and Todd Perry of Australia [ Images ] in the men's doubles at the US Open [ Images ] on Monday.

The Indo-Czech duo was beaten 4-6, 7-6, 3-6.

They had earlier beaten Mario Ancic and Ivan Ljubicic of Croatia [ Images ] in the second round, and Gael Monfils and Cyril Saulnier of France [ Images ] in the first round.
