Manchester United [ Images ] defender Gary Neville [ Images ] has withdrawn from the England [ Images ] squad to travel to the United States for a two-match tour.
Neville missed Saturday's FA Cup final defeat by Arsenal [ Images ] with a groin injury and will be replaced by uncapped Charlton Athletic player Luke Young.
England play the United States in Chicago next Saturday, followed by a clash with Colombia the following Tuesday at the Giants Stadium in New Jersey.
Captain David Beckham [ Images ], his Real Madrid [ Images ] team mate Michael Owen [ Images ] and Bayern Munich's [ Images ] Owen Hargreaves will all miss the first game against the U.S. because of club duty but will join up with the squad for the Colombia match.
United's Rio Ferdinand [ Images ] and Wayne Rooney [ Images ] were left out of the squad at the request of club manager Alex Ferguson [ Images ]. Chelsea [ Images ] duo Frank Lampard [ Images ] and John Terry [ Images ], both having toe operations, also miss the trip.
Liverpool midfielder Steven Gerrard [ Images ] is another absentee as he will be leading his side in the Champions League [ Images ] final against AC Milan [ Images ] in Istanbul on Wednesday.
