Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Sunil Dutt on Thursday will meet family members of Major Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore [ Images ], who won a silver medal at the double trap shooting event at the Athens Olympics [ Images ].

The time of the trip is not yet fixed, but it could be sometime in the evening.

"The sports minister's office called us a little while back and told us that he would like to pay a visit to our house in Delhi [ Images ] Cantonment. He was expected to visit in the morning, now it is likely to take place in the evening," Dr Gayatri Rathore, his wife, told rediff.com

Dutt is expected to announce a reward for Rathore during his visit.

Rathore will return home late Saturday night.
