The top seeds defeated the wildcard Russian pair of Denis Golovanov and Andrei Olhovskiy 6-2, 6-1 in a quarter-final match.

They will face the winner of the other quarter-final between fourth seed Frantisk Cermak and Leos Friedl of the Czech Republic and Igor Andreev and Nikolay Davydenko [ Images ] of Russia [ Images ].

Earlier, playing in their first match after losing the US Open [ Images ] crown last month, the top seeded Indo-Belarussian pair won the first round on Monday, defeating Tomas Cibulec and Pavel Vizner of the Czech Republic 6-3, 6-4.
