British bookmakers William Hill installed American Andy Roddick [ Images ] as favourite to win the Wimbledon [ Images ] men's singles title after top seed and defending champion Lleyton Hewitt's [ Images ] first round defeat on Monday.
Roddick, champion on grass at the Stella Artois Championships a week ago, is quoted at 11-4 with Andre Agassi [ Images ] second favourite on 100-30.
Serena Williams [ Images ] is an overwhelming favourite to retain her women's singles titles.
