The Union Home ministry is likely to constitute a core group on Kashmir and members of this core group would call on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh [ Images ] on Wednesday, sources said on Tuesday.

The core group will comprise major political parties from Jammu and Kashmir [ Images ]. Parties that have nothing to do with Kashmir are likely to be kept out.

However, the Prime Minister's Office refused to acknowledge the development. "I have no idea about the core group or any all-party meeting on Wednesday.
