Sarabjit is Indian national, says govt

India [ Images ] has conveyed to Pakistan that Sarabjit Singh, sentenced to death in Pakistan for his alleged involvement in the Lahore [ Images ] bomb blasts in 1990, is an Indian national.
His nationality has been confirmed by the Punjab [ Images ] government, an external affairs ministry spokesman said on Monday.
Two Indian High Commission officials had met Sarabjit in Kota Lakhpat jail in Lahore last week and had gathered his personal details.
