Teenager, 2 kids run over by train

A teenager and two children were mowed down by the Gaya-Nagpur Dikshabhoomi Express at Barbatpur, about 35 km from Betul in Madhya Pradesh [ Images ], on Tuesday, Railway Police said.

Sunita Vasudeo (18) of village Saunsar and Deepu Gohe (8) and his sister Sonam Gohe (11), both residents of Barbatpur, were crossing a railway bridge over Machna river, the police said.

The children, along with their families, were on their way to offer prayers at a Lord Shiva [ Images ] temple on a nearby hillock.
