Directorial duo Abbas-Mustan, after giving Akshay Kumar his Khiladi image and letting him wallow with the 'bad guy' tag in Ajnabee are now poised to throw him into a cesspool of female hostility in Aitraaz.
The film reunites Kareena Kapoor with the actor and the directors of Ajnabee, and gives Priyanka Chopra the first negative role of her career. It also features Paresh Rawal and Amrish Puri in important roles.
The film centres around Raj Malhotra (Akshay), a successful man whose world comes crashing down after he spurns the ruthless Sonia (Priyanka).
Sonia spins a web of deceit and intrigue around Raj, using her feminine wiles to every possible advantage, and finds an adversary in Raj's loyal love interest, Priya (Kareena) who stands by him and supports him throughout this ordeal.
The film promises to be a sensational tale, and knowing the directors, the climax is bound to be unpredictable.
With the tagline 'In the world of women, you either play by their rules or else....', Aitraaz hits the screens on November 12.
