Senior Bharatiya Janata Party [ Images ] leader Arun Jaitley [ Images ] believes that only politicians should work as the office bearers of the state associations so that they can rescue an important event like Indian Premier League [ Images ] from collapsing due to security concerns.

"Karnataka [ Images ] has agreed to hold five matches. Likewise ICC [ Images ] vice-president Sharad Pawar [ Images ]  has promised to find adequate security to hold matches in Mumbai [ Images ]. We have managed to relocate one of the matches in Dharmshala and Punjab [ Images ] chief minister Prakash Singh Badal has taken responsibility to take care of the matches in Mohali," Jaitley told rediff.com in an exclusive conversation.

Jaitley will send a committee to assess the situation in Chattisgarh, in order to host a few matches there, after Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh gives his approval for the same.
