Rs 4.8b 100-story software facility mooted in BangaloreThe Karnataka government has given consent to a Rs 4.8-billion software technology park project. And it is to be housed in the tallest office building in India called Space City.
The 360-metre tall 100-storey building would provide 1.6 million square feet of office space on a 60-acre plot on the Hosur Road in Bangalore.
The project is being developed through the debt-financing route. Jaggi said the financing scheme has not been finalised, adding that foreign financial institutions have shown keen interest in investing the project.
A few New York-based architects and a British consultant have been shortlisted to work on the project.
The state government has given the fast-track status to the project with Karnataka Udyog Mitra assisting the promoters.
State government sources say five sites on the Hosur Road have been proposed.
